Sentrama, a B2B lead generation channel, was accepted into NVIDIA Inception on 2 November 2026. It joined because charging per lead is an AI problem: the Sentrama Platform predicts which prospects in a client's ICP will pick up the phone, and when, and a human SDR has every conversation. It is the path Google took with pay-per-click: GoTo.com had the pricing first, and Google won by predicting the click.
Sentrama, the B2B lead generation channel I co-founded, was accepted into NVIDIA Inception on 2 November 2026. We applied because charging per lead is an AI problem. Our platform predicts which prospects in your ICP will pick up the phone, and when, and a human SDR has every conversation. It's the same path Google took with pay-per-click, so that's where I'll start.
Why did Google set up pay-per-click?
Google didn't invent it. GoTo.com did, in 1998, and it ranked ads on whoever bid the most, according to Bernard Jansen of Penn State in IEEE Computer. When Google brought cost-per-click to AdWords in February 2002, ClickZ reported that it ranked ads partly on how often they were clicked. Google only got paid when someone clicked, so putting the ads people were most likely to click at the top was the whole business.
It still works that way. Google's own help pages say Ad Rank combines your bid with expected clickthrough rate, recalculated on every search, and in 2013 its engineers described click prediction as a massive-scale learning problem at the heart of online advertising. Alphabet reported $402.8 billion of revenue in 2025. GoTo had the pricing first. Google won because it could predict the click.
What does Sentrama understand about pay-per-lead?
Lead generation is still mostly bought on effort. Retainer agencies, lead generation agencies and outsourced SDR providers bill you for time or activity, and an in-house SDR costs the same salary whether anyone answers or not. Nobody in that chain can tell you in advance who'll pick up, so you carry the cost of every call that goes nowhere. On a typical list of 1,540 records, two in three were never going to answer.
Charging per lead is Google's move, made further down the funnel, and it only works if you can predict the pickup. We can. About 19% of the UK numbers worth dialling pick up for us, against 10.1% in Salesfinity's July 2026 report on 1.3 million dials, the best published figure I can find. That gap is why dials, voicemails, gatekeepers and wrong numbers never get billed. Google predicts the click. We predict the pickup, and that's how we're creating pay-per-conversation.
What has Sentrama built to predict the pickup?
Every task except the conversation, learnt over more than 5,000,000 dials since February 2025.
| When | Job | What the AI does |
|---|---|---|
| Before | Source | Builds the list from the top 20 global B2B databases |
| Before | Qualify | Removes about half of every list as wrong records before anyone dials |
| Before | Enrich | Finds a direct mobile for every prospect it can. No direct line, no dial |
| Before | Score | Scores every prospect for how likely they are to pick up, and when |
| Before | Deliver | Puts a human SDR on the call in the hour the prospect picks up |
| During | Dynamic pitching | The dynamic predictive script supports the SDR live, section by section, from the opener to the close |
| After | Quality control | Records and transcribes every call, and tags the outcome as an SQL or an MQL with the reason the prospect gave |
| After | Campaign Optimisation | Measures results by persona, segment and script version, and finds the version of your pitch that wins |
The "before" rows are the infrastructure problem, and on our data they make a Sentrama Prospect 3.5 times more likely to book a meeting than a prospect called from a standard database record. The "during" and "after" rows work on the pitch problem. They show you which version of your pitch is working, and nothing changes until you approve it.
A human SDR, employed by us and trained on your pitch, has every conversation. Never an AI voice. And you can launch the lot from Claude or ChatGPT: describe who you want to reach, and it sizes your market, drafts your pitch and prices your campaign.
Why did Sentrama join NVIDIA Inception?
Because every row in that table is AI, and getting better at it is how we keep charging per lead. Sentrama plans to use NVIDIA technology to accelerate its AI-native capabilities, which for us means sharper predictions of who picks up and when, and faster answers on which pitch is winning.
You don't just sign up. NVIDIA reviews every application and asks for a clear use case for NVIDIA technology, and its FAQ lists organisations that don't qualify, including consulting and outsourced development firms. A lot of lead generation is a services business. We applied as a technology company, and NVIDIA accepted us. Membership gives startups access to NVIDIA's technical expertise, training through the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, preferred pricing on select NVIDIA hardware and software, and routes to its investor network for eligible companies.
What should you ask a lead generation provider before you sign?
What am I paying for? If the answer is a retainer, stay away. Get controllables: a fixed number of leads every month at a fixed price per lead, with every call recorded so you can check each one. A provider that can't predict who'll pick up can't put that in a contract.
Buy leads the way you buy ads, except every one of them picked up the phone: see how Sentrama works for marketing leaders.
Onwards and upwards.
